When the news said that monsters were now on the surface; you thought it was just a joke. How wrong you were--

Your new neighbors were..erm...skeletons. They were pretty loud but some of the stuff they argued was actually pretty funny and interesting. You quickly became friends with the chilled younger brother named Papyrus. So you were popping by everyday.

Sans...for some reason either hid from you or always had an excuse to leave.

You were now gaming with Papyrus, biting your lower lip due to consecration.

"My bro really likes you." you quickly turned your head to Papyrus; breaking your concentration.

"Looks like i win" Papyrus says, lazily huffing smoke from his cancer stick.

"H-hey! that's not fair, joking around like that." you say with a huff, placing the controller down.

Papyrus raises a brow "Who says i was joking, heh..it actually really does like you. I've never seen him so happy when you started coming over." he places the controller down "Just him a chance, he wants to ask you on a date but..doesn't seem to know how to..it's why he always has an excuse to leave..so he can study 'the secret art of dating'" he quotes in the air with his slender bony fingers.

You nibble on the inside of your cheek in deep thought; maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

"He can be a real bone-head".

Sans had his hollowed nose deep within a book;'Dating for Dummies'. He was writing down notes in a small notebook.

"Hey Sans!"

"ACCCKKKK!!!" Sans screeches, almost jumping 10 feet in the air. "HUMAN (Y/N), YOU SCARED ME!" Sans, clutching his blue scarf tightly. "Wait..(Y/n)..." his cheeks were now dusted with blue. "I..uhm.." he's panicking; trying to come up with a quick excuse. Sweat appears on the skeleton when he saw your eyes skim his notepad and his book.

"So--" "I-IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK!" he panics, still trying to come up with an excuse. Your eyes lighten up and your smile softens. Sans notices and he stops what he is doing; his blue blush almost takes over his head.

"Meet me at Muffet's tonight at 7, it's a date" you say with a grin "A D-D-DATE?" he stutters, making you chuckle.

You're in your apartment; getting ready for your date when you can hear Sans through the thin apartment walls.

"WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? OH NO OH NO, THIS WAS NOT IN MY NOTES."
"Relax, what you're wearing is fine. Maybe if she wears a dress, it will be easier to take it--"
"SHUT YOUR MOUTH, YOU SINNER."

You couldn't help but chuckle, maybe this date won't be so bad.
