I made 3 rows of hair plugs, the center row was the lighter color (although it was supposed to be opposite, oops!) then I slid my scissors between the layers and chopped them, leaving the center row a bit longer. Then I styled it with a gel called 'Got2Be- Glued' that's used for making mohawks on people. It's super strong but washes out if you need it to.
