Description Going through all my photography that I took during school and picking out a few that I really like. This is a detail shot of an exterior door to (I think) what used to be a bank in downtown Winni. Went for a different angle, rather than directly on in order to make it interesting.

Wow, that's absolutely beautiful. Very nice photo. It's good to see that we have some nice scenery in this frozen city.

Yes indeed I found a lot of beauty in a snow covered, frozen Winnipeg as well.

lol. Yeah, I'm sure it is beautiful when you get into the busier districts. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in St. James-Assiniboia so there's not much beauty to be had except for the Christmas lights people have put up.

I lived in the Lord Roberts Area. There wasn't much in the way of beautiful architecture to be found there, but there was some quirky pieces of nature.

Those certainly must have been interesting to see. Most of the nature we see are mice, sparrows, rabbits and the like. Though we do have a couple of Peregrine Falcons living nearby.

I had a spastic squirrel living in the tree outside my window. Little bugger provided endless amusement Although I hated when he would have one of his spaz attacks while I was trying to sleep DX

lol. That sounds almost like the pet rat I used to have. He would always chew on the cardboard box shelter in his cage while I was trying to sleep.

Oh animals...why do your sleep cycles differ so much from our own?

Maybe it should be "Why do our sleep cycles differ from theirs?" Think about it.

That answer is easy. We're not meant to be nocturnal at all. We've evolved to live in the sun and sleep during the night. Some animals though are awake during the night and day and they have irregular sleep cycles.

True. Though for some odd reason, night is when I'm the most away. At least, until 4-6 am. >_>
