Description
No, that's not blood. It's fixer which I neglected to wash off.I thought these two photos fitted quite well together, hence my uploading them at the same time. The other is Cut .
This will probably go into my scraps as well.

Really nice. The accident of the fixer colour is pretty cool, even is unintended. And it goes very well with the title. Excellent! ^_^

Thanks! Well, y'know me and my melodramatic titles...
And i think I *did* wash it off, except that someone swapped the water bath and the fixer around. And I couldn't tell the difference in the dark. Blame them.

Talk about flattery! Or rather, don't. Thank you very much.

this is pretty wild. i generally disilike anything that uses color inversion, but i think that it's appropriate here, if only for the title you've given it. the somewhat random juxtaposition of objects adds to it, too.

Although this looks like a colour-inversion, I didn't actually invert the colours. I was messing around in the darkroom and putting objects onto the sort of photographic paper you usually project film onto. The fixer was originally a dark orange instead of red, but other than that, no digital messing around at all. I personally prefer the other photo. That's untouched, just scanned straight in.

What! It's a pair of scissors, some film, thread, and buttons! And a plaster cast! It's like a little sewing tableau. Honestly, how much more mundane can you get?
And you know I always worry you anyway.

Ooh dear. Sorry. I didn't realise at the time how potentially nasty they could look.
I blame the fixer for not reminding me to wash it off.
