Page 7 <-- You are Here --> Page 9Notice the style change? I have been really inspired by Kenneth Rocafort's art style and so I've incorporated a few of his comic-paneling elements' (is that what you call it? O.o) into this one
In other news, "Refuge in Arkham" is no longer tagged with "BBRae" in the main title, but with "Titans" instead. The story is still going to revolve around Raven and include A LOT of BBRae moments, but it's still inherently a story about the Titans as a team. So, you guys are going to see a lot more on how the team interacts and inspires each other
There's also some bad news for you guys... you see, I'm matriculating into college and school's starting next week, so things are going to be a lot busier than it used to be here. I'm not going to be able to update as regularly as before
I will always try to squeeze in some time here and there to draw my babies, but I can't promise anything...Anyways, do let me know what you guys think about the new art style! Do you prefer this new and colourful style or do you prefer the old hot-pink and systematic approach? I'll see you guys again soon!

Im actually starting to think that he is malkior/rorek..... dont ask why, but the both of them used ravens emotional 'condition' to get away with something and i still think they have a crush on raven.

At least acording to local DA shipping, i can imagen the original tv series raven trying avoid everyone she supposidly likes. And some people for me are waaay off base, i mean, adonis and mumbo liking raven????? Well, i guess its better than dr light (shudder)...... at least it gives her a reason to destroy the universe XD

Remember, these are the same comics wherein one-eyed mercenary Slade Wilson alias Deathstroke the Terminator at over age 50 is enticed by 14-16 year old chain-smoking earth bender Tara Markov into banging her, so the comics could get away with stuff the show couldn't (Slade/Terra smut just being the canonically sordid prime example). So yes, Dr. Light was a pedophile & rapist before Raven literally mind-fucked him in retribution.

No, seriously though, each strip is of a certain length and size for consistency, so I couldn't add too many frames within that same length. In actual fact, this strip has the most number of frames for all the strips I've done (there are 17 frames in this one, the others only have an average of 13). So technically, this strip is really long in comparison to the other strips!
I'll try to make the story move faster with the next strips, but there are still some details (e.g. setting establishments, movement, body language, speech, interactions) that I need to include in the strips to enhance reader experience. They help to create tension and determine the relationships between different characters. I could just show what's necessary for the story, but the process of reading it won't feel as good as it does now

I feel that every Titan is very important in the team, even if some of them are dating.
They are all family and none of them should ever be idle in the plot.
While I will play up the roles of the other Titans here, I'll still slip in a few BBRae moments here and there!

While many artists say that they draw not for the sake of their watchers/followers, I can't say the same for myself.
You guys are like a family to me and part of what I've done is out of my appreciation for all the support you guys have given me.
I will try my best to post stuff more often, whenever I can afford to do so
Would you prefer it if I post more sketches to keep my account "alive" or just focus on the comics?
