Vanish Point:

Part of my head scape art series, I think this work in particular, is very nice. All my 8”x10” oil paintings and sketches, feature one of my hand made plaster frames! Each frame piece comes equipped with a hanger, and is a complete art piece out of the box!

This painting comes framed! The plaster frames are also my own creation, each one is somewhat unique. I cast these from a mold of my design. File, sand, sign on back, then paint and burnish. The color of each frame is meant to compliment the predominant colors of the painting. The burnishing stage at the end polishes the plaster and removes some paint in the raised sections, giving the feeling of depth. Hangers are cast into the plaster and make them easy to hang right out of the box. Each of these frames, and pictures, takes a good bit of time and care to create.

I am a self taught artist, who paints primarily from my imagination, and uses any means of paint applications that suits my mood at the time, fingers, rags, sponges, brushes, and pallet knives.
