For 's Humanized Media Controls Contest

AHHHHHHHH OMG LOOK AT THIS MASTERPIECE! I actually remembered to do the hair and eye shine AHHHHHHHHH! Oh it looks so polished and beautiful! Hope you guys love it just as much as I do, I think this is my most favourite digital I have ever done!

Oh also, just a quick side note, I'm using a soft edge for the hero based characters and hard edge for the villains, I dunno why but it just made sense. I know you can't really see it on here, but meh, it's the inside details that count ^^

Story:

Bard Pitch and Xun Shiftan were both best friends who grew up together since they were kids. Bard was always into music and making sounds into melodies, whereas all Xun wanted to do was express herself through dance and let out her feelings through it. When they became older, they formed their own duo, where Bard made and sang his music and Xun danced to it and helped with music videos. Bard even had his own radio show that he would host in his spare time, Xun coming in to helping out on it every now and then. They became very popular, and soon enough Bard found himself developing feelings for his partner, but never wanted to tell her in fear of it tearing their friendship apart. They stayed close until a new music company took over, putting the two out of business and leaving them to play only small shows and venues around the city just to get by. Bard was always the more head-strong one, usually making the decisions and working with the business side of things, whereas Xun was a free spirit, always on the go and coming up with new ideas on the fly, her handling the more creative area. They developed their powers while in the competition's headquarters, they had gone in disguise and were taking a tour around the building when a synthesizer machine zapped the two when they wandered away from the group.

Bard was given the power of Sound, being able to hear and control different frequencies and making different sounds louder and softer depending on the type of frequency. If it's too high or too low, then he can't control it, and he can't push a sound past it's limit, otherwise his own brain will literally explode from stress. He can also scream really loud and can plug his headphones into any wall, being able to hear what's happening on the other side. (Inspired by the character Kyoka Jiro from My Hero Academia) Xun's ability is Speed, she can run, talk, or do virtually anything at lightning speeds, by has a limit as well as Bard, and has the capability of over working her body. Doing this will result in her possibly becoming immobilized or mute. Unfortunately Xun's new powers got her over excited, and she used them past her corruption limit, causing her to work for Dr. Heart. (the villain) This didn't break Bard and Xun's friendship however, they still continue to communicate in secret and meet up and hang out whenever they can. Bard still retains his feelings, and finds himself falling deeper and deeper in love with his best friend, but it's unknown whether or not Xun likes him back as of right now. They try their best to fight for their team, while still making sure not to hurt the other, and dealing with the conflict that they face between their differing views and lifestyles.
