first of all never compare your own artwork to another artist artwork, because for me every artist artwork is unique...when i see your sunnys painting your uniqueness is in the brush stroke you can make a color gradient from rough stroke but looks so smooth, maybe you just need more practice about proposition in drawing, keep practice, try to imitate some picture and draw it as close as possible, but after that dig up your own style
