Description
... I have no clue how this turned to be 2k12! I blame two people that I will keep nameless! So you can tell Mikey has been effected by the madness and became Prince Mikey, trapping his brothers' souls into voodoo dolls for eternity, so he will always have someone to play with.
And yes some how this has some connection to that one 2k12 episode... which it never started that way... Where did I go wrong?
Enjoy
... I regret everything!

I think it would have some dark overtures to it. Maybe a possession type of thing going on. Ancient voodoo sort of thing. Mikey resisting. Splinter fighting back. Brothers trapped in the dolls, but becoming maybe a puppet sort of thing. Hmm... very good story I think.

Voodoo dolls are quite common, but I can see your concern. And it all starts with a trip to the junkyard. Mikey helping Donnie. Finds an old trunk, thinks April would like it. Opens it in the lair and finds something... weird mask, wrapped in... oh, protective spells and herbs. Mikey puts it on and boom...
Oh, I have shivers!

I guess I could give it a shot. Yeah (GRIN) think I just might. Need to plot this puppy out though. Want to make it good.
Okay, will do. Hmm... might even need to get core so I can use your picture. I think is might be fun.

No, no hurry, but I want to get it drafted while it's fresh in my mind. I also want time for a lot of proof reading and editing. I want to do it justice. Your art is exceptional.

Tarin2014tfan In reply to sampsonknight [2016-02-21 02:47:37 +0000 UTC]
That's where I spend most of my writing time, proof reading.
π: 0 β©: 1
sampsonknight In reply to Tarin2014tfan [2016-02-21 02:59:51 +0000 UTC]
Yeah really, I swear it actually takes me what 1-2hrs to write 3k which I can do in one sitting if I'm in the mood. But its the proofing... I first read the thing catching spelling and fixing up the structure for the first draft is usually weak. Then add details and so on. The next stage is getting my computer to read out the story for I don't pick up words that are similar in spelling and make the mistakes a lot, so that process cuts half the mistakes and give me a better idea if a sentence flows smoothly or needs work. Third stage, is running it through a grammar checker, two versions. So yeah I think that's were most my time is spent and it can get tiring that is for sure.

Tarin2014tfan In reply to sampsonknight [2016-02-21 03:14:18 +0000 UTC]
I thought I was the only one who struggled with proof reading. LOL And I still have mistakes I miss. I once read a quote from a writer who said, "I type mistakes faster than anyone else around." I now know what he meant.
I find the best time to write is late at night and early in the morning when it's very quiet. I make less mistakes and have better details when I work during those times. But I rarely have the energy to work then. LOL

sampsonknight In reply to Tarin2014tfan [2016-02-21 04:08:32 +0000 UTC]
I like to write the drafts at night on what I call the shit box, its a damn useless android that my dad just gave to me for he couldn't do a thing on it. It doesn't even have a spell checker haa haa. But when I write I can't have distraction including spelling errors so I get the chapter done faster this way so I don't lose the train of thought. Later I worry about how crappy it is haa haa. During the day mostly evening I like to work on the fixing part. At that stage distraction aren't hindering me that much. Oh I still have mistakes too and a friend catches them after posting but I try to learn from them. I will admit I'm not perfect and I suck at English, even though that is my first and only language. I was more the artsy and math type of person when it came to school.

I've learned over time to write when I can. I must admit, I still use the notebook and pencil method while waiting for work to start. It's only me in my car waiting, and it is very quiet. Perfect time to work. At home, I like to work in the morning before leaving for work, there are some distractions, but easily overcome. Evenings are harder, and sometimes weekends are perfect, sometimes not.
I love to just sit down and write, let the idea flow, keep on track. I make les mistakes then, and have better details I want to keep.
I never did much artsy things in school and have a great deal of respect for those who are artistic. I was a math, science person too, but I never hesitated to escape into a good book. I leaned to love words and like to write because of it. I was so thrilled the first time I had some little thing I wrote published. It was just a kid's story but it was a great confidence booster.
I like your writings. They are well written, descriptive, and overall enjoyable. I'd say you do not suck too much at English, if any at all.

I can't do the notebook or pencil for when it comes to transferring it to the computer that's when I get lazy and stubborn, that is hwy I use the shit box. To avoid that from happen and I can write in a room that I don't get distracted. Mornings for me is the worse of time, I don't function well in the morning
That is awesome that you had something publish that is away nice to see.
Thanks it took a lot of practice the past 2 years, my earlier works are not as strong and need a lot of fixing. I still say I suck at English though haa haa if you saw my first draft you would go cross eyed and wonder if I was on something... No really it's that bad, but I learned to fix my mistakes with help from Zell who does tell me when I have some issues in my chapters. I learned from those mistakes and I will admit I have improved since I first started, but still need a lot of improvement.

If I had my computer with me all day, or a tablet, I would never get any work done. Plus paper is easy to carry around. Sometimes it seems I have more distractions than is humanly possible. LOL That's one reason I LOVE mornings. Everyone else is in bed, no noise, and I can write to my heart's content. 4 AM is good quality writing time for me.
Everyone has room for improvement. I know I do. And another set of eyes always helps. And first drafts are supposed to be crazy. LOL I l first drafts as much as the final.
Maybe if I had spent as much time working on drawings as I did on writing, my art would look more like what it is supposed to be and less like Malaria germs. LOL

Yeah I can see that, like I said its a shit box it can't even handle the internet! I can only open Hotmail to send the story piece to my other email so I can grab it and put i on this one. Other then that the thing is a paper weight. Yeah I agree paper is easier to carry around and truth I only write at home and if I am at work I just use my computer once I'm clock-out waiting for the time to head out to pick up my kid,Β since going home is useless
to just leave 10min later going back the way I came.
I hate mornings, I away have. Never been a morning person. I like night time for that is when I'm alone haa haa. I'm can be such a damn night owl.
Well you can always make the time to draw when you feel like it, there is no such thing as too late. I have moods, it either drawing mood where all I want to do is draw and looking at my writing makes me frustrated and want to vomit. The other times just thinking of coloring or drawing makes me cringe in dread and writing is the only thing that interests me. I swear there is no damn balance... Also I doubt your art is so bad to quote it as "malaria germs"

Tarin2014tfan In reply to sampsonknight [2016-02-23 03:41:44 +0000 UTC]
I could handle one of your shit boxes. It'd be great for me to write on at work, waiting for work, break time, waiting for the machines to warm up then transfer it when I get home. Handy thing that.
Night owl, LOL I tend to drop off by ten. But I get more done between the hours of 5 and 6 am than I sometimes do all day.
No, Malaria germ is a good description. It's rough looking, but the family is supportive and continues to cheer me on. So maybe one day it'll be more to my liking. My creative skill tends to be in the use of yarn. I LOVE crocheting and make all kinds of little things. Guess I couldn't get all the skills. LOL

It not good at anything, but there is one writing app it can handle if you don't write over 1600 words for it gets slow and you have to start a new file. Nice part I have to admit it is very light. This is the shit box www.amazon.com/Goldengulf-Netb⦠trust me when I say its not worth the price. No apps work on it, and it can't support flash for something about flash wasn't going to work with android or something like that... Hell it freaks on facebook and DA. (The reason my dad gave it to me for it couldn't handle Facebook games.) I surprise they are still selling it for it a big failure. Eww and look at the price... nasty so nasty not worth it haa haa.
I try not to stay up till 3am. Cough cough, I normally crash around between 12 and 1am.
Hey keep at it! Yarn, oh hell that would be a disaster for me! I can't knit or do crocheting my way out of a paper bag, unless I use the needles to stab the bag (Raph style!)
Nope if you did have the all the skill you would be your very own Mary Sue haa haa. Besides what's the fun in being able to do everything?
Not just that, where would you find the time?! There is just not enough time in the day as it stands!
