This is what I'm working on in my spare time, posting to show the progress and also to illicit advice on how to proceed. All comments/criticisms are welcome.Sort of finished it... after the sequence here I added blood, fire, smoke, cleaned the clouds up a little and moved the main angel's eye down a little.

I like the step to step progras, but your lines seem a little bit blurry, maybe you sholud try to paint with paint tool sai as well?

Wow. Really interesting to see the progress here. I love all the details, and the perspective is great! Some places, especially the skin, looks a bit too blurry, but that might be because you're not finished yet?
Also, I really love their wings! Great job on this!

Looks awesome, very ominous. I think the foremost angel ought to have deeper shadows on his face/body due to being concealed by his hair/wings. A few bloods flecks on their wings might not be out of place either
