Omg I first saw this design on a random google image search and it was located on Pinterest, andΒ it took me so long to find the original XD.
I very rarely take time to comment on here, but by golly I genuinely think this deserves some praise. I really really enjoy this Robin design. It really makes the costume a very sleek and pretty practical, which is difficult to do with a Robin suit, even in my favorite incarnations. By far my favoriteΒ feature it is the mask, I really love the glowy-ish eyes. It gives Robin a very intimidating look, again very difficult to do with this character and costume.
All in all I love it! I kinda wish I could see it in action in a real comic. Or even a live action film, as this looks like it would translate better to screen than pretty much any comic versions of the character's suit.

haha, thanks! im glad you found it. i'm still quite pleased with the design myself. iirc, at the time i wanted to try something similar to the cowl that red robin was sporting originally, but i felt something that covered the hair completely made the design feel too old. it worked for red robin, because it was him stepping up from his role as batman, but this incarnation i felt was still very much part of the dynamic duo.

except its not tim's design, its a design i drew for dick.
like i stated in the description, its a precursor look to a nightwing drawing i had done earlier, hence the holstered escrima sticks on the utility belt.

Exactly! I dunno, I've always hated the domino mask design, especially as I've gotten older and comics have started to modern up (armor vs. costume). Especially Nightwing. So yeah, again. Diggin it!
