I would really like Damian's current costume, if not for all of the green. Really, it's hard to take someone seriously when they're dressed in christmas colors. I mean really, green boots with red laces? Is he supposed to be an elf?The cape is kinda reminiscent of Ra's al Ghul's, even though if you take the original Dick Grayson Robin cape and pop the collar, that's pretty much what it would look like. So it's kind of a nod to both, I guess. The sword is another nod to D's grampa, but of course, he wouldn't use that as a killing weapon...right?

Y'know, other people have told me that, but I never read that arc. If it fits with a canon look, though, then all the better!

I would imagine him using the sword like Leonardo in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles who seems to be able to fight with two katanas without making his enemies bleed. I think all of the Robins should have their own costume.

Very stylish, though I'm not sure that red and yellow are any less festive without the green, it's certainly a visually striking outfit.

Well thank you! As a general rule, I just don't like red and green touching in a costume. The saturation of the colors is just too similar to work together comfortably. At any rate, two colors is usually enough to make a memorable costume. Adding a third tends to make it messy.

Speaking of Ra's Al Ghul, I was also thinking that the Batman of Earth Two would
have accepted Ra's Al Ghul's offer in becoming the leader of his organization.

That would be an interesting take. We've seen what it looks like when Superman takes on a frightening leadership position (the new Injustice game, Red Son, ect), but we rarely see Batman go off the reservation in that way.

I really like this one. The costume is dark and royal with a hint of mysticism; it really makes him visually different from the other Robins before him.

Well done with the royal prince style for Damian. I don't think such looks usually work for some heroes and side-kicks but you helped Damian really pull it off.

Thanks for the kind words! I agree; Damian is definitely a unique anomaly among superhero characters. You can get away with things with him that you can't normally get away with, just because of the nature of the character.

Y'know, I actually did struggle with letting him carry the blade, for that very reason. I figure as long as he doesn't kill or maim anyone with it, Bats might let it slide. Probably not, though

Excellent redesign, I don't like Damian's current costume either, it's just too messy, and to think that from all Robins he was the one in need of a redesign, but he was the only one kept untouched by the relaunch!

I love his hair here, and I definitely prefer your design, and though I don't really have anything against his shoes, these ones do make for better intimidation. Did I already say I love his hair? ^w^;;
