I would really like Damian's current costume, if not for all of the green. Really, it's hard to take someone seriously when they're dressed in christmas colors. I mean really, green boots with red laces? Is he supposed to be an elf?The cape is kinda reminiscent of Ra's al Ghul's, even though if you take the original Dick Grayson Robin cape and pop the collar, that's pretty much what it would look like. So it's kind of a nod to both, I guess. The sword is another nod to D's grampa, but of course, he wouldn't use that as a killing weapon...right?

I like the green because it's a classic Robin colour, but this costume is also really cool and dynamic.

Thanks! Yeah, people are kinda torn over the green. Some think it's too classic to just throw out, and others enjoy the more streamlined color scheme. I can definitely see arguments for both sides.

whoaaa this is intense.
still, damian's outfit is my favorite robin outfit. i think its pretty kickass and modern and i DEFO have to disagree about the boots (because all my friends joke about my Damian Boot fetish).
its suppose to be based on a circus outfit. i think when they start losing that, they will lose the original meaning of "Robin". If they took that away, why even call him "Robin" anymore? I think it's all about Dick's legacy and it needs to be remembered. :S
but this design is still pretty cool. much more mature.

Hahaha, I'm not hating on Damian's costume! I actually think that, as far as the comics go, Damian has the best Robin costume (although I think that Dick's Young Justice cartoon suit is way better
The thing is, D's suit is red, green, yellow, and gray (it might be intended as black, I really can't tell). That's just too much. Take out the green (which is the only cool color of the bunch, so it clashes anyway), and you see an immediate difference. Since gray does carry a tonality depending on the lighting, making it a more neutral black will whittle the colors down to red and yellow, which compliment each other beautifully and don't overwhelm your eyes. Damian's suit would immediately look better with these simple color changes, and you wouldn't have to touch the actual line art.
That said...I can't even begin to explain your Damian boot fetish

whoa!! This Damian looks awesome!! If he had a comic drawn by you, I'd totally buy them and read them! Like, Robin is a cool character(this is Damian Wayne, correct?), but I'll always be a fan of the more recent style of Dick Grayson(like the one on Young Justice, I mean)

Oh yeah, Dick's YJ look is definitely, hands down, no question the best Robin suit that any of them has ever rocked. Way better than Tim's YJ look, even.

haha, definitely! When I first saw Tim, I thought it was Dick and was like "What happened to Robin?! Why'd he change his look 5 years later?!" But, I later saw Nightwing and breathed a sigh of relief. Too bad they can't just send the information back to 5 years earlier and continue the adventure from there. I enjoyed the young heroes, hence "Young" Justice

I'm enjoying the new younger heroes, too. Supergirl, Wonder Girl, Blue Beetle, ext. I'm really intruiged by the storyline, too. I can't wait until we know all about what happened in that 5 year gap! (I'm also a huge fan of nonlinear storytelling...maybe it's the ADD?

oh yeah, these new heroes bring some enjoyment to the story as well^^ I'm glad for Blue Beetle and how Superboy stayed 16 for years! Oh yeah, learning all that would certainly be great^w^ I heard about some Young Justice video game being created for 2013 and that will take place about a year before the events of Season 2, so that will tell of what caused season 2 to happen like it did(y'know, Aqualad-even though he's still good secretly, and Nightwing becoming leader since Aqualad was still a part of the group before the year of season 2)
