Click your character who has been turned into a Movie Clip already. If a blue box outline does not appear around it, click it again until the outline comes. With the blue box still there, press the "F9" button (located on your keyboard somewhat above the "BackSpace" and "=/+" button) and the actions menu should come up correct? If in the top left corner where it says "Actions" and it says "Frame" after it, you'll have to click your character Movie Clip, so it replaces Frame with "Movie Clip". In the text box, enter in the ActionScript (or the red words) samuraichi provided you with in the Flash movie.
Hope this helps clear up your misunderstanding.

nooo it says double click you just cant see it!! click on the word double then drag the mouse to the right for the rest of the sentence!!!
