Dedicated and highly principled, Doctor Henry Jekyll is beloved by his friends, admired by his colleagues, and a pillar of the community, but the good doctor is not as stalwart as he appears. While a very moral man and a brilliant scientist, Doctor Jekyll secretly regrets having lived such a stainless, conservative life, and longs for the freedoms and hedonistic pleasures he has been so careful to repress. Believing every man is actually two beings in one body, one inherently good and one inherently evil, Doctor Jekyll dedicated his research to separating the two halves, not realizing what his actions would unleash. Once Doctor Jekyll ingested his newly-created formula, his wish was granted, and he was transformed into a creature he named Edward Hyde, the physical embodiment of Jekyll's evil side. At first, Doctor Jekyll relished the freedom his other identity gave him, but he underestimated the danger of treating evil like a toy. Now, Mister Hyde threatens to destroy everything Doctor Jekyll holds dear, and the battle between the two identities can only have one victor.

My take on Doctor Jekyll, I hope you like him. The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde is one of my favorite stories, so I just had to draw the two eventually. The story is so iconic and so often retold, yet so many people get it completely wrong. With that in mind, I humbly submit my version for your approval, and don't worry, the honorable Mister Hyde is up next, so stay tuned and God bless!
