It's time for another weekly alphabetical project! Instead of living, breathing animals, we're now doing an A-to-Z of mythical creatures and fictional monsters called ALPHABEASTS !

For the entirety of this project I knew what I wanted to do for X and Y, and I knew I wanted to put these two beasts together.

The Xenomorph is among the most iconic move aliens ever. H.R. Giger did an amazing job designing and building the original Alien for the Ridley Scott film. His ability to mesh creepy sexual themes with industrial, bio-mechanical creatures and scenery is unmatched. The Xenomorph is like a large, highly intelligent insect. It wants nothing more than to survive and procreate, and it does both very, very well.

The Yautja is the most feared hunter in the Universe as far as I'm concerned. It hunts other sentient life forms for sport. It has loads of awesome toys in its arsenal. Its combination of ritualistic tribal traditions and highly advanced technology make it a formidable threat for anyone or anything it deems worthy of being preyed upon.

Together these two beasts make up my two favorite aliens ever. I consider myself a huge Star Wars fans, and have been since early childhood. But these two guys take the cake!
