When I saw the trailer, I thought pretty much like everyone "what the heck is this!?"But I have some friends who worked on this, so I thought to give it a try, and it was actually very adorable!
Granted, the first 15-20mins was a mess in terms of pacing and the environments were a little lacking, but it picks up during the second act and the main couple were super cute.
I'm quite sad that it was so badly bashed by the critics, when it was actually quite decent.
Sure, it's far from the polished technical perfection of Frozen, but it's not as bad as the critics make it out to be.

I did not watch the trailer to avoid spoiling myself but I saw some pictures and I was already in love with this movie!
And it didn't disappoint me. For me, this movie is an absolute joy to watch! So touching and romantic~ Β

frozen isnt better looking just more hyped and praised cause its disney but personally the story in frozen is pretty dumb and not thought through in any way

Haha, I actually didn't watch pass the beginning (because I was watching something else on the side) but I am glad to hear it gets better later on. Β I certainly would like to finish watching it!!
I was a bit put off by how similar the characters and settings looked to Epic, but then again, I can never get enough of fairies, elves, and tiny creatures!~

Beautifully done, love the strong warm yellows and browns. The foreground and blurred falling leaves/debris add a great depth to this sweet scene.

This is beautiful and so well done - I like the atmosphere that the impressionistic background gives the piece and the way you captured the swirling motion of the leaves and the sunglow in the background. I can't quite put the mood into words, but it has a sort of tranquil melancholy to it, if that makes sense, with the falling leaves and the autumn-like colors. It really leaves a strong emotional impression.
I love how you've positioned the figures and how Marianne's wings provide that startling POP of color that gives life to the whole picture. Most of Bog's surroundings are brown and grey, so no wonder he was dazzled by that brilliant shot of color from Marianne's wings 
They both look so beautifully graceful too, each in their own way, which you captured so well. I love the tenderness and innocence of this moment between them, and how Bog looks like he's gently pulling Marianne onward.
Lovely, lovely piece that will be sticking in my head for some time. Keep up the beautiful work. Cheers!
