When I saw the trailer, I thought pretty much like everyone "what the heck is this!?"But I have some friends who worked on this, so I thought to give it a try, and it was actually very adorable!
Granted, the first 15-20mins was a mess in terms of pacing and the environments were a little lacking, but it picks up during the second act and the main couple were super cute.
I'm quite sad that it was so badly bashed by the critics, when it was actually quite decent.
Sure, it's far from the polished technical perfection of Frozen, but it's not as bad as the critics make it out to be.

I barely thought about about this movie (only kind of heard of it) till I saw it on TV, it was just on, and I thought it was definitely very cute, I love how she went with the guy who was not the "handsome" guy, besides that handsome guy was such a jerk.

Despite what others may have said that they've seen in other reviews of this movie, ones that really aren't that greatly reviewed in good taste anyways. I'm glad that this picture is attracting attention and that this and many other fanarts are showing the positivity that Strange Magic has given to people who are willing to give it a chance unlike those who only go by what 'critics' think or say.

I was ehh about it first, didnt care for the story and the art didnt appeal to me, but i decided to watch it. i loved it, it was really cute. i loved how the 2 became a couple in the end, with their stubborn and edgy attitudes. haha it was funny yet sweet and this drawing shows that.Β

I just watched this movie today (Though I didnt get to see the last five minutes) But it is such an amazing little film, It satisfies my romantic heart while also satisfying my artistic need by its animation beautifully designed characters and stunning scenery. Your art gives it apt justice!

I love the pairing and the artwork, as well as the two main characters (who seem to be the only ones that had decent dialogue + the villains mother), but the movie was beyond awful. The horrendously simplified dialogue, all the "ah love ah love and boys" thing being wayy too much for any movie (unless its a cheesy romantic comedy), really terrible remakes of the songs, especially the one where the cheater elf starts singing in that very poorly hidden southern accent and I suspect the voice actor might be tone deaf... I had to fast forward through everything from a bit after beginning and until the main "battle" breaks out at the very end.
It was a very gorgeous movie though. And I absolutely adore the villain. But it could have been done a lot better, with better script, better, more complicated storyline, without the over the top spastic behavior and movements from some of the characters, and possible make it a bit less predictable. I predicted the events of the end of the movie 40 minutes before it actually happened (I timed it too). I suspect this was mainly done the way it was done to attract more attention from much (and I mean MUCH) younger audience, females in particular. Because though beautiful beyond belief, this really lacked any trace of a serious plot.
Anyway... this artwork is still bloody awesome. Well done *thumbs up*

Im sorry but the singing was the best part they picked the best voices. I just loved the way they sung everything. And keep in mind its a childrens movie. Kids already are pretty cheesy x3

Its a matter of opinion I guess. I greatly value the human voice, and when somebody who doesnt have talent comes on stage - my ears wilt. The singing was off key, cheesy to the point of dumb, and half the singers were tone deaf (Ive spent 8 years in a music academy, I can tell when the singer of any genre is tone deaf or whether or not they have experience singing at all), and yes, it is a kids movie but those are never that cheesy. Ive rewatched all of the movies ive seen as a kid countless times, including every animation that comes out nowdays, and nothing compares to the cheesiness that is strange magic. It is a good story though, it did have a LOT of potential. I greatly like the main pairing, and I believe it could have been a real hit instead of tanking so horribly, if only they would make it with a bit more mature undertones and less more so for 5 year old little girls with princess complexes. (<- that not being an insult in any way, I just wish they would start making animated movies the way they used to, without sugarcoating everything and anything because of a phantom notion that children cannot handle any type of serious content) .

I love the movie. This is the movie the more "logical" I've seen since a long time. A lot of movies are disappointing like Inside Out (funny at the beginning but after...), Hotel Transilvania (a lot of potentiel not used)... Even Frozen! (i don't know why everybody loves Frozen, it is beautiful technically but the scenario isn't. I am sorry for the fan but Frozen will be forget soon).Β
In Strange Magic, you don't have some things that disappear in a scene to reappear in a other or a lack of scenario. Everything follows perfectly to the end. And the Bog Kind got a a lot of funny expressions ( He made a lot of "WTF!!!" because everybody is singing this is very "human" because i'm sure we will react the same way if our mother sing "Love is strange" to us lol). I can't tell everything i like in this movie because i am bad in english and i don't have the correct words but it's really a good movie. I hope they will have a number two! A revenge of Roland?

Impressive 2D depiction of the main couple, especially the shading on Bog.Β I liked the movie and thought it was well done.Β Some of the songs were kind of cheesy but that was sort of the point.Β Let the critics say what they want, they've been wrong before and this won't be the last time. 
I love the lighting and detail in the scenery yet how you kept it from distracting too much from the characters.Β It's a beautiful work of art.
