I always loved that detail when you left him alone for a while. Being as young as I was then, it also made me feel some connection to the character, like he was at least partly alive.

That's a shame. 
I couldn't install it on my new computer a while ago, but I was able to install in on a very old computer.
It'll always be one of my favorite games, no matter how old it gets.

I have a newer version of the game, called ¨Rayman Gold¨. In that version, he doesn't say anything at all.
