L my favorite character ever. I love you L
I used watercolour and black ink. thank you all who favorited this, it means a world to me

Very cool looking~ How did you produce the layered look? (done in watercolor?)

I put water in a small section, then I color that part with one color only. After that is dry, I do the same thing in the adjacent blank spaces with other colors. After all the background is colored in patches of color, I use black ink to unify the picture and bring all the separate colors together. The main figure is what I drew first, since it is the most important part of the drawing, and the background is secondary.

I really think this combination of mediums. Cool and warm colors gives it a very unique look. L looks cold and focused in this drawing, which I really like.

hum I don't think I will draw her because I don't like her personality and character in the manga....I drew L because he is my all time fav character ever :> I might draw misa if it's a commission though :]

Woah! I love how all the colors blend together, and even though they're kind of happy colors, the way they run together on L gives it a dark feeling. You did a great job on this! (I want to hang it on my wall!!!)

i love the brooding nature of this piece and how the colors run through him, almost as if to make him less than what he is. his foot looks a little odd though.

This is amazing! I love how the ink flows into the water colors and how the contrasts don't just bleed into each other willy-nilly

Not only is L excellently drawn, but you've given him a bunch of color! Normally I don't think the color scheme would fit his character - here, though, it's perfect. Your quirky approach with the coloring contrasts really well with his serious look.
