A sketch of Fader from the Get Ed comic. Took me forever to get his face right - any time I'd try to imagine him, he'd end up looking like this picture of Sylar , and I couldn't get a clear fix on his appearance. Of course, far as I'm concerned, he still looks like Sylar...one too many episodes of Heroes, I suppose.

I worked this piece mostly from left-to-right and top-to-bottom, so you can kinda figure out what order I thought of things in. Except for the Progress City lettering of his name; that I added in at the end for fun.

So, yes, he has a gun for an arm (if you've seen brentorama's concept art , you know about the accident). How utterly original of me. XP It's made out of bioferratus, or litterally "living iron" (hey, at least I was original enough to make up a material name). It looks and behaves exactly as a normal arm (in fact, it's actually extra-sensative; he could probably read Braille if he was of the mind to), except for the ability to transform into the plasma blaster ala Megaman. His legs are prosthetic as well, but aren't especially useful except for speed; he's almost as fast as the Dojo's hovercraft.

The lopsided single glove looks odd to me...somebody tell me what to do about that. This isn't a final concept; just the innitial sketch. I just tossed a little paint on it to give you an idea of the colors. Any ideas would be welcome.

And I have GOT to learn to draw guns...
