Alright, so I have mixed feelings about this one. When I did the sketch and lines I loved it. But I think using water colours on the background kinda took away from it. I'm not too good with water colours (and the paper I was using didn't help) but I think the marker work turned out decent. Overall, not my best but not my worst either. I haven't used my markers.. or even used any colours in what seems like ages so hopefully it'll get better as I figure things out again. Anyways, here is my lovely stoltzer mare in her first competition.

Erica tightened her reins on her young horse. The newest addition to the stables tossed her head, raring to go.
"Woah girl" she cooed as Maerad took a side step in anticipation.
"She seems ready to go" Justin said, his eyes bright as he pat Erica on the leg. Over head Erica heard her name called to enter the start box. Norway's beautiful scenery surrounded her as the pair started on their course. The mare lunged forward, eager to jump the first jump. Erica let out a small chuckle as she let the mare have her fun. They soared over the first jump effortlessly, the course seeming to go by smoothly. Maerad let out a small buck of joy and sped off.
"Slow her down!!" Erica heard off in the distance. She could barely make out the crowd in the distance.
"Huh?" Erica said as the mare took off, taking advantage of her rider's distraction.
