I've been meaning to post this up for a while. The whole weapon manipulation for ponies have been a constant nagging issue for me, so here's what I'd come up with so far. What do you folks think?
As a bonus, have some Tau battlesuits.

So, based on what I've written, the most logical way for a quadruped to use weapons is to have it mounted in a back turret that is controlled by a Psychotronic Computer.
This allows it to fire in any direction.

I always imagined that non-psykers would have to have their ranged weapons integrated into their armor, so that they're controlled by nerve impulses or automated targeting systems. Or if you wanted to keep weapons separate from the combat armor, they could fire with one foreleg while standing/bracing with the other two, with a mag-lock grip and electric impulse triggers. Including another set of extra limbs for handling weapons that were purpose-built for the wrong species seems extra cumbersome to me.

I really like the design of the Space Mareine armor. Very lore friendly in both areas. The battlesuits are also very nice.

Really cool but I keep thinking the pony's range of motion is unusually restricted due to a) shoulderguards being too low and b) the neckguard is too large and inflexible. I can appreciate if the design ended up looking that way to keep it recognizable, still awesome.

a) I have to agree with you on that. It's a little low in this drawing but generally, the shoulder pad should be where the pony's shoulder should be. My bad. ^_^
b) If I mentioned that the neckguard was a separate piece from the chestpiece, will it change your mind about the inflexibility?

OH! I'm looking at it again and the rounding of the breastplate under the Omega with the... smiling cat face(?), does that mean that it can swivel down like a ball joint? If it works that way then I guess you can retain enough movement for pony walking most of the time but keeping the capacity to get up on two hind-legs a la Pinkie and shoot guns or swing swords (or engage in a full-on kung fu battle like Octavia).

I would just do away with the whole convoluted 'battle-saddle' and 'manipulator arms' configurations, and go straight for 'telekinetic collars'.

I have thought about that, but nah. I kinda like the idea of physical manipulators for most basic weapons.
The anti-grav manipulators will be reserved for weapons that require the finesse and can't be mounted on their helmets, like Power Glaives, Thunder Hammers, Eviscrators and really massive swords. And stuff.

Omigosh, the ponified Tau Stealthsuit is adorable~
I love the addition of the powerpack from this angle, though I can't quite imagine how that would affect the side profile.
As for the manipulator, is it a mechadendrite?
