OH BOI I just keep ranting today

It's not the person who has the opinion's issue if someone else gets offended by something they say, unless they're deliberately trying to offend that person. I'm not going to change an opinion of mine just because someone is offended by it and/or doesn't like my opinion. I'm certainly not trying to offend anyone by putting an opinion out in public, I just feel need to express said opinion.

Of course, you're perfectly free to feel offended, but it's no one's problem except your own. The "offensive" person is just as entitled to their opinion as you are, because we have this thing called freedom of speech (well, at least here in America we do).

You can complain about that opinion as much as you want, but don't expect the person who has the opinion to change it all of a sudden.
