A writer's madness
Starts out simple at first, a sight, a sound, a prompt or idea that slowly
Infects the mind, unrelenting until it takes control, forcing the words to be written in their wholeness

But then it grows into something more, unwilling to be nameless
It demands to be written, but it is only
A writer's madness

It begs, it screams, it pounds, it claws and scratches at the walls of the mind - it will not remain faceless
It does not stop until it deeply
Infects the mind, unrelenting until it takes control, forcing the words to be written in their wholeness

It lives, it breathes, and will not remain soulless
It accelerates the process, like a disease, becoming stronger and louder, but it is simply
A writer's madness

Remaining a piece of the mind will simply not do, it will not allow this weakness
It must be written and seen and put forth into creation, as it painfully

But do not worry, the affliction, the disease, the insanity, the craziness
Does have name. Just let it be known as merely
