I know Jack about animating shit, so I really have no comment. Except maybe to keep up the good work, and good luck with it.

That's cool, but I don't think anyone who rides like that turns the handlebar. =/

Turning the handlebar when going in a straight line only happens when your ass is off the seat and you're swaying the bike side-to-side to get more power.

thank you for the feedback.. but what you should try is to get on a bike, ride slow and keep your steer straight ahead.. Β i will make bet with you here and now that you wont be able to keep your handlebars straight in one position.. its simply a balance thing.. really, try it out

For an early stage, that is quite good.

Maybe I should hire you, so that you can animate the special effects for our. Perhaps than it can finally be finished.

I forgot the word movie.^^ My friends and I are making a fan movie and we're having problems getting the special effects done. It just takes too long.

PiratesAdventure [2013-12-07 05:17:57 +0000 UTC]

Hmmm, you should probably also put some motion in the hips. The entire torso and hips is too static. When we ride the bycicle, we are not just using the leg muscles by themselves, we are using far more muscles. Using only the leg muscles would be extremely tiresome. Also, I would argue that the shoulders also should move a little if the arms are moving like that.

SaphireNishi In reply to PiratesAdventure [2013-12-07 05:26:15 +0000 UTC]

hmm.. but that would mean i need to animated the character on top of the bike, and thats not really what im trying to do here.. this is a bicycle rig.. so that means there is no time line, no key frames.. all the motions you see is coming from one controller that makes all the other motions happening.. its all based on constrains and links..

so yes, you are right if we look specifically at the motion then there are a lot of motions missing on a lot of places.. but thats simple not what im trying to do here.. thank you for the comment though
