Yeeeaaaah, finally decided my other app was out of date. Look, look! I actually used my tablet this time! Well, I should say I had enough time to use it because my sister wasn't here this weekend.

So, yes, along with the new artwork comes new backstory!

Angus:

Born in Crying Woods in the dead of winter, Angus spent most of his young life under the forest canopy. He had a pretty normal childhood, and was loved dearly by his parents. However, once he was older, he began to get the feeling that he didn't really belong in the woods any longer. So he decided to travel, searching for a place he could call home. He visited many different places, from Alomomola City to Sonata Forest. He even spent a few months living in Steel City.

Angus would have stayed in Steel City were it not for his getting caught fighting. He had been walking down the street one night when he glanced into a back alley. A few pokemon - a Nidoking, a Machamp, and an Aggron - were partially hidden in the shadows, but Angus could see them well enough. Suddenly, a little Bulbasaur ran between the bigger pokemon, a terrified look on his bruised face. The Aggron plucked the small grass-type from the ground and flung him back into the shadows, where Angus heard him hit the wall with a sickening crack. Rage filled his heart. Why were they picking on such a small and helpless Pokemon? He did not know. He did know, however, that someone was getting sent to the hospital that night, and it wasn't going to be him.

The police found him breathing heavily over a pile of unconscious pokemon, his right eye swollen shut from a well-placed Dynamicpunch. He spent a few days in prison, and was then released on the condition that he never returned to Steel City. Angus grumbled as he trudged away from the high-tech city. The unfairness of it all stuck in his mind, but it was then that he realised something. It didn't matter where he lived, what mattered was that he needed to do something to help pokemon that were weaker than him.

It was after this revelation that he heard of Tao village, and the guilds that resided there. So he moved to Tao, and a short while later, he met Moira, and they became a team.

Angus is brash, gets angered easily, and likes to punch first and ask questions later. He enjoys a good brawl, especially if he's had a few too many drinks. He's very protective of Moira, and will more often than not keep her away from dangerous situations. Situations that usually come about because of Angus punching before thinking. When he's not fighting, Angus can be a very likeable pokemon. Lady pokemon find him quite charming; you can sometimes find Angus being tailed by more than a few ladies.

Tidbits:
-Has a Scottish accent. Scottish accents are common in the area of Crying Woods that Angus grew up in.
-Angus is very good at sculpting, whether it's clay or ice. He doesn't like to show off his skills, however, and usually does this in the privacy of his home.
-Angus doesn't like it when pokemon show off their wealth. This makes it particularly difficult for him to converse with pokemon from the merchant guild without judging them.

Moira:

Moira was born in Mossy Village to Selena the Serperior. Her father, a Milotic, left her mother to live in the Prismatic Jungle, serving under Tivoli suspectedly of his own free will. Having never met her father, Moira grew up wondering what her father was like. Her mother was no help, saying only that she would never forgive him for leaving them like he did. As a result, Moira's views of what a father should be like came from her friends' fathers. At night she would dream of her father returning to her and her mother, becoming the perfect father that she had always wanted.

As Moira grew older, Selena grew weaker. The stress of being a single parent, along with her jobs as gardener for the wealthy, and resident herbalist and healer to the poor, was wearing on her. As her mother grew weaker, Moira started to blame her father for her mother's state. If he had been there, her mother wouldn't have to stretch herself so thin.

Then, during one particularly harsh winter, Moira's mother failed to come home. The villagers found her on the street, buried under a small hill of snow. She had froze to death. The news was too much for the little Snivy, and so she left her birthplace to go find her father, the only family she had left.

Many weeks later found Moira at the edge of the Prismatic Jungle. However, the dragon pokemon that guard the home of Tivoli refused to let her in. Frustrated, Moira wandered away from the jungle without a thought as to where she was going. Exhausted and hopeless, Moira dragged herself to the edge of a little village. Unable to go any farther, she plopped down in front a house and fell quickly to sleep. The house happened to be home to Angus, who quickly took her in and fixed her up. They have been inseparable ever since.

Moira is a cute little Snivy, who uses her cuteness to get what she wants. The only pokemon that can resist her cuteness (most of the time) is Angus. Moira loves to be the center of attention, and becomes fussy when attention is taken away from her. When that happens, she usually does something devious to bring attention back to her. However, she is still young, and all that she's been through has made her a bit sensitive. She craves the attention of Angus the most, seeing as he is the first father figure she has ever had. She also wants to become stronger so she can help Angus more during missions. However, she also secretly wants to make her way through the Prismatic Jungle and find her real father.

Tidbits:
-Moira likes to sing, and is a fairly decent singer.
-She's afraid of poison-type pokemon, for reasons that are still unknown.
-For one so young, she's very scary when she's angry.
