I had a massive art slump a couple of weeks ago, and I thought humanizing a bunch of ponies would help. It did, but it was not the fast project I thought it would be. Granted, I thought I only had 20-30 characters in the file, notβ¦52. 52. What was I thinking?
Anyways, I did these in my looser style, so I know there are mistakes. I mostly focused on shape variety, and keeping them cute without turning them into Ariel clones. I donβt think I completely succeeded, but I do like the way they turned out, and I did have a lot of fun!
That said, I know some parts are a little looser than the rest- I was feeling sick on and off, so some parts are a little off. But whatever I'M DONE.

I've seen a few other people with the same idea re: Luna and Celestia. And thank you! I actually came up with Chrysalis first before any of the other ponies.

Celestia is also princess of the sun, meaning she's probably in the sun most of the time, making her very tan

annnd? It makes sense for her to be darker because she is in control of the sun. and Luna controls the moon, and usually lunar characters are really pale due to lack of sun. the color of the pony has nothing to do with skin color.

Okay, first of all, my favorite part has to be Octavia on this one. I really like Octavia (She and Vinyl are definitely my favorite two ponies), and what you did with her is really alike to what I had in mind. So a huge thumbs up to that.
Now, then again, I have to highlight the race and shape variety. I particularly like the hairdos in this one (Wow, Fancypants and Prince Blueblood with long hair? thatΒ΄s new. I like it.) as well as the face shapes... You really captured the personalities pretty well! (On a fun fact, I first though that Gilda was a man. Wow.)
I really, really like how you made Celestia dark-skinned and Luna really pale, because, well, it totally contradicts the way they appear on the show. I also enjoy the way you did Granny Smith. And I am also really fond of the way you did the "YEEAAAAH!" pony- My gosh, that expression. ItΒ΄s so awesome.
Okay, making this a little short... I tried to focus on each detail of each humanization, and I just canΒ΄t seem to find something that I dislike. Bot this and the first part are amazing, my congratulations! I could write an essay detailing on this picture and each character, but I donΒ΄t think you want that, either. So short and sweet: These are just so cool. They have earned a good place amongst the best of my favorites. Awesome job!

Thank you, again! And I wanted Gilda to look more masculine- a girly face just didn't suit her. Plus, she's a griffin- I wanted her nose to recall the beak she has in the show!

Oh my gosh, this and the other batch are beautiful. ; u ; I love the outfit designs and the expression are adorable. I really like the linework and how it just, like, flows. o:
Also in love with the headcanon for Celestia and Luna. It makes more sense than them both being white. xD I really love Luna's pose the most in this, though. Like all high royal and stuff. I dunno what I'm saying but I think it means something. ffff-- |D

Thank you! I always saw Celestia as the more looser of the two, while Luna has a more serious air to her. I wanted their poses to reflect that.

Okay, this is gonna probably sound totally weird, but even though I picture human Twilight as someone of a darker skin color, it never occurred to me that her brother might be as well. xD I've actually never really pictured him as human before. I think he looks absolutely fantastic. I have no idea why that caught me so off guard. sjhdaflnsodjng Cadance. <33333333 I love all of these. Especially the overly macho YEAAAHHH pony.
