Rogues! Yeah! You can learn more about Zara the Spheal here: [link]Important! The sound will go out if sync if you scroll down your window or go to another tab. The animation is very synced to the music, so when watching, don't move or you will ruin your AWESOME TEAM AZURE EXPERIENCE!!
M8! The animation! Yeah!! I lost count of how many hours I spent on this, but trust me it was a LOT of hours.
Art was drawn in SAI to create PNG images. PNG images were assembled in Flash to create SWF files. SWF files were assembled in Adobe Premiere. Then more exporting and Flash was involved but it gets complicated at that point. A tiny bit of After Effects was used too.
Sorry it's not fully animated everywhere but damn, time was limited after all. And I had to decrease the video quality a bit so it would fit dA's size limit.

That shocked face on Uppa when he realized what had happened there at the end was really moving IMO!

I love how wonderfully smoothe animation was. I wonder can you tell me a little more about the techincal stuff? How many frames per second and and stuff.

Some scenes were 18 frames a second, some were 24. That doesn't mean I drew 24 pictures per second though. Each drawing spans 2 or more frames.

you you did 9-10 pictures per second on the ones where you do have animation? That does not sounds too bad

This is stellar work! I like how little dialogue was needed to convey what was going on, and the style of animation for the fight sequences were really cool to me. And poor Upaa! I will never stop feeling sorry for him.
