Description Edit: Why does this have so many views? This is old, and yet it's my most popular deviation. lol

My first time drawing Ducky... her hand is still bothering me, but it's the best I could do.Β

Good one! Ducky's expression is excellent here! (her hand looks alright to me. I often struggle to get these fingers right myself ) Petrie looks really good as well

I wonder... would you allow me to use this as a reference so I could draw this scene with coloured pencils in my usual style? I'd credit you of course

Thank you! I'm glad everyone looks alright to you. I was worried something about Ducky might look off, specifically her hand,(since I'm not very good with handsΒ ) but that doesn't seem to be the case.

pretty impressive your first time drawing, looks just like her in the movies, but i would like some context as to why she's comforting Setrie if possible.

Well, I'm not sure how well I can explain this, but here goes.
I've been considering writing a fanfiction in which Petrie's uncle Pterano (from LBT 7) finally returns from his five-year banishment, bringing back another flyer who happens to be Petrie's long lost father. At first, Petrie is excited to finally have a Father-Figure to look up to, but then quickly becomes depressed as his Father takes a keen dislike of him. Though Petrie doesn't tell his friends about his Father's anger issues, they notice his odd behavior, so Ducky pulls him aside from the rest of the group to ask if he's alright.

There's my silly idea. I probably won't write it out, but I might draw more pictures... maybe.Β

Write it out! That sounds like a good idea! If you need any help, just poke me. I have some experience in writing LBT fanfiction already so maybe I can be of help if you need some ^^ You will only know if it works when you sit down and try. My first chapters were far away from being good but I've improved a lot in 2 years... so can you
