Description This is my contest entry for
The theme is "Fan and Blossom". The dragon stands for the blossom in spring and he brings the first flowers after a cold winter. His scales and tailtip were inspired by the fan. I wanted to include the icons colours, but I donΒ΄t like the outcome. The dragon is too colourful in my opinion, but well, watercolours are always a challenge.
This is also the first time, that I drew the outlines before I coloured it and I guess that was the only reason why I finished this painting.
