Find out more about her amazing carousel contest here: [link]
As you can see, it's Greer from Everlee!
He hasn't been introduced yet, I don't think, but he's fricken amazing. I can tell.
Here's Greer's nifty reference sheet: [link]
*poke* Go take a look; it deserves your love!
I really like how the colors turned out. Oh, and the uber tassles of course. XD
I think my favorite part may be his tail, which was difficult...
Overall, I'm pretty satisfied. It's not mind-blowing or anything, but it was still a lot of fun!
Great contest, Liz! I love the creative freedom you gave us.
Created in Microsoft Office Publisher from June 30 to July 02, 2008.

It's only a model. Falls off chair laughing at Monty Python reference.
Anywho. SHUT UP. Do it anyway! I want to see. You know you want to...
You can give critique if you want to.
I know you'll be nice about it---some people just aren't.

Ahaha, nevah... Maybe. If I have a compy and some time, which is looking laughably unlikely.
What?! Evil evildoers giving mean critique? I shall hunt them down and kill them... anyway, all I was going to say was that I liked the colors, I think.

True. You need Alex... When's he back from lappytop surgery?
Nothing I can't handle by myself, lol.
Well you can definitely praise it, just not critique it.
Or if you wanted to critique, that'd be fine too.

I do need him... They ordered the parts, which should arrive in a week to ten days, and then they just need like a day to do the repair, although there may be another long break in communications between those two times (there better not be).
Curse them...
lawl, I usually don't make any specific comments on the piece when someone says critique not desired, because for me the positive and the negative go together, but I guess what they're usually saying by that is actually criticism not desired.
And I do love it... basically can't think of any real critique. Love his tail. ^^

I've been pretty well, actually.
Just taking a break from deviantART recently so I can relax---mostly to do some reading and writing that I've been putting off. What about you? How've you been lately?

unicorndreams In reply to SaraChristensen [2008-07-04 10:17:23 +0000 UTC]
Im ok thanks I have been really busy lately, with life and my business. I have not had much time for art all tho I have been trying to get on as much as I can to reply to comments etc.
reading? anything good? What are you writing about, is it a story?

SaraChristensen In reply to unicorndreams [2008-07-04 16:26:32 +0000 UTC]
Aw, that's too bad. I hope you can find some R&R time soon! Yeah, actually. My younger sister insisted that I read the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer.
Have you read them? They're pretty good!
And I do write stories! Well, novels actually. None of them are finished, so that's why I'm taking a break---to make some progress with them!

unicorndreams In reply to SaraChristensen [2008-07-05 14:51:35 +0000 UTC]
hmmm I think I might have heared of it ..but i dont think I have read them.
If you ever get round to finishing them are you putting them up there? I love to read a good story. what are they about?
π: 0 β©: 1
SaraChristensen In reply to unicorndreams [2008-07-05 17:19:04 +0000 UTC]
It's all good. I definitely recommend them for some light summer reading.
I am definitely putting them up here! I have a prose account where I post all my writings.
~delusionzOFprose --- There's one unfinished story up there now, the first nine chapters I think.
These are the genres for most of my novels: Action, Disaster, Adventure, Crime, Mystery, Drama, Romance, Horror, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Supernatural, Suspense⦠All of them are intertwined with some kind of love story. I'm a diehard romantic just like any other girl, lol.

Do you have my home number? That's the best way to get ahold of me.

Wow, thank you! I'm so glad that the details were noticeable.
You just made my day.
Essentially, carousel horses are stabbed horses---I mean, they've been run through with a spiral pole.
