Description
Argh god this thing is the messiest thing ever my writing sucks I'm so sorryAnywho
this is a firealpaca /cloudalpaca tutorial on how to color lineart using clipping.
You're free to use the line art at the end of the tutorial so long as you give my credit (i.e.. linking to my icon in the description) and link back to this tutorial.
Do not use for adoptable or for profit, this is meant purely as a learning resource. By all means color in your oc in the lineart etc, just don't sell the linear or colored line art for points
Have fun practicing!

"I used these colors + the watercolor brush" So do you mean color with a different brush then use a watercolor brush or do you mean color with watercolor?

Thank you sooo much for this! I've been going in and selecting/filling the lines individually and then touching up small problem areas by hand. Takes forever. This looks so much faster!!

This tutorial was great.
And the sketch image really made me laugh for some reason. I'm not very good at coloring, but this tutorial inspired me to make this:

Medibang Paint Pro and Firealpaca are the same thing, Only the Medibang have the Comic tools.

Wait I thought protect alpha made you color your lines(unless that only works with cloudalpha). So what is the different with protect alpha and clipping? (Sorry I am such a newbie I know! XD)

I haven't used alpha so I'm really not sure sorry.. But clipping works in my version (MedibangPaint Pro) which I think is a recent version. sorry I don't know more

Actually I tried it and it really works for both of them. The difference is that for clipping, you have to press a new layer in order to color the lines. However, for protect alpha, you can color your lines on the same layer. Either way, it gives the same result.
