Perhaps on the stream you could use less wavy lines, replace them perhaps with stuff under the stream ( rocks mud etc ) or reflections of the people and or the trees :I just an idea! I love this page in general though lol

I feel that the best way to indicate water is a combination of the water itself and what is below, especially for a stream. Maybe a little lighter on the lines, and some hints of rocks or mud and sticks or whatever the stream bed is composed of would be a bit better.

The stream looks a little busy, maybe take away some of the lines or make some of the lines a bit lighter than the rest? Or also stuff could be in the stream, like rocks perhaps.

Looks like a stream to me. I think kytri might be right though, that few lines might work a little better. It feels a bit cluttered.

It reads as a stream to me but I also already knew it was going to be there.

I feel like maybe it has a few too many lines overall? Like maybe just a few lines indicating where the water goes around their ankles and the banks would be good. I don't know, it seems like there's a lot of different ways you could do it.

I also feel like I should be able to see more of their feet and the stream bed since it's so shallow.
