Not to be hard on yeah cause I know your only 18 but go deeper and darker with it, and bring it back. You might be surprised, if your exhausted working on it try working on it upside down.

Thanks, I worried I might of run you off. I can tell you're potential through your various techniques in your work. I can also tell that you are self driven and mostly self taught. These combinations make the best artists, at your age you should really push yourself to extremes. That way if you go to college you might be surprised what skill level you have reached. I know this because I went to the art Institute of Ft. Worth and as soon as they seen my work they really spilled the beans. They told me I should of already been selling artworks, so that's what I worked on in art collage not to mention the boost and feeling of being amongst my piers.

And yes I am self taught but I go to the high school of arts in sarajevo .Right now I am working on my paintings (you must have 10 paintings to show the teachers on the academy of fine arts ) and if I find the time I draw .
Anyways i took your advice for my next drawing .It has lots of shadows and highlights ,and it is a portrait .
Once again thank you for the advice and I will definently work harder for my goals .

Wonderful work! The only nitpicking I have with this is the little grey area to the side of his face, above his hand. It's probably just the background, but it doesn't really make sense in my brain. Nevertheless excellent texture on the wrinkles, stubble, and eyes! Breathtaking piece

This skin looks so realistic as does the stubble of the beard.Β This makes me think of my grandfather who wore a hat like that and always had a cigarette in his hand.Β Thanks for sharing this!
