Mello with a ponytail? Matt with a goatee? Near with glasses? ... I frickin' LOVE you! I have a squee-ing fit every time I see Near, which is apparently very LOL-worthy for all those around me... De tout facon, I love how you gave them normal sorts of problems with their family, it's really amazing. I can't wait for the next panel!

haha, yeah mello, you don't have high expectations or anything...
i can see what you mean about it being a little wandering. in the other comics you only focused on one character at at time, and here you were cutting between the two scenes, so it might've felt a little weird but its pretty clear you were trying to imitate what they do in tv shows, when they cut between two scenes to heighten tension and whatever. i don't think it was a bad effect all together.
i hope the next strip comes out soon!

yeah, i've been watching some of my lame shows a little more closely, and they very rarely have long stretches of scene...i was actually really surprised at how well they flow despite how much cutting and pasting seems to go on.
i hope so too, lol. it's midterms right now D: but hopefully over spring break i'll have some time ^^

oh, midterms. say no more. at my school we're actually finishing up the year right now (at least seniors are) with our final papers and no one can focus on anything except RESEARCH PAPERS. its killer. so deff focus on that before the comic!
