Description
This is my 9th (?) piece for my AP concentration on bugs, so this is a snail about to be squashed by a foot. No animals were harmed : )This is ink painting and gesso on grey paper.
I'm not sure if I'm done yet, so if you have any critiques at all, I'd love to hear them!!

This is way cool, I like it!
I am not sure where the light source is. Cast shadows might help, or they might be unnecessary. I'm really not sure, but it is something to maybe think about.
Should the lace in the top right corner really be that light in value?
I really really like the snail's shell. And all the little details in the sneaker.

I am going to add shaddows to try to correct that, and also hopefully try to make it look more foreboding to the snail, like he's in the shaddow

This is a really nice piece as is. Hopefully shadows will just kick it up that extra little bit .
