People sometimes ask why I'm so interested in Surrealism when most of my works are photorealism or portraiture. It's takes a strong mind to show ideas and concepts through the limitless world of surrealism, and I usually get lost in the freedom. I admire the works of people like IamWhoIWasNot and A Neon Devil Breath . Surrealism takes a step from traditional thinking and provides a look into the mind creating art with no visual representation.B4 on light charcoal paper

I'm guessing your girlfriend either studies or likes surrealism? It's always been one of my favorites, which I find kinda humorous because my two favorite styles are realism/portraiture and surreal which are on opposite ends of the spectrum.

erm... none of the above. XD she's just a very artistic, creative soul. she's wonderful at surreal works - dynamic. she's also like that... she just creeps and crawls through the artistic realm. she can paint, draw, whatever... anything - faces, figures, surrealism, psychedelic artwork... it's amazing. anyways... lol. erm... happy new year, haha.

It's a good example of surrealism. It has a great flow and we can follow through teeth and eyes, hands and faces, masks and skulls, until we find a way out... or find a way in. What an awesome picture. Your skills in composition and design are equal to your considerable imagination. This is just cool.
