Description
Pure passion, no endless search for status, no sexual advantage, just two people who love each other. And no, just for the people wondering I'm not a gay rights activist, but I believe people should live life however they want to be happy....This piece is 9x12" on standard sketch paper, using my Derwent pencil set.

I'm glad you like the piece, and if you are interested I'm working on the sequal to this piece right now. Its a tad different and I'm doing it kinda as a commission (longish story,) but it should be done in the next week or so.
Haha, and about the asian question....the truth to this piece is both are the same girl. I just made them look slightly different while leaving the major features the same. I did this to take more of the specific people out of it while keeping the same personality and affection.

Great pic. Belief systems are ok as long as they don't try and control reality. I say I respect your beliefs as long as they don't effect my reality. If that happens we are going to have problems. A lot of people choose not to believe in evolution. Do you think that affects evolution in anyway? Reality doesn't care about your beliefs. But you better understand if you put your beliefs above the laws of nature your chances of evolving are very slim. We are emerging from the dark ages when belief was the rule. The religious extremist are doing everything in there power to stop it.

Mainly; I'm a guy and I have more interest in women, and because of this I'm better at drawing women then men.

Lol...that's funny. 'Cause I'm the exact opposite way. Being female, I have more intrest in men and draw them more frequently, but am still better at drawing females. xp

Thank you for the comment and I'm glad you appriciated the piece. Yeah, I don't think I have ever drawn a male model well. I just know what the muscle lines and shapes for a woman should be, and its also easier to drawn a woman's long smooth lines in comparison to a males more blockesque figure.

I have no problem with them living the way they want, they are people just like anyone else and they deserve the same rights to happiness; however, a lot of the gay rights movement isn't about letting these people do what they want to be happy. The movement is more based on forcing others to except their views as normal and making people think the are the same, this is imposing their views on someone else. I don't not think they has the right to impose their views on other people, just like I wouldn't like beastophiliacs or necrophiliacs imposing their view on other.

Yeah, I believe they have the right to love eachother but just like we can't impose our views on them I don't believe they have legal grounds to impose their views on us. Things like marriage are religious issues and I think the churches should deal with it, I don't think its the governments job to force the gay marriage issue.

No... I mean... all hetrosexuals should look at this like... "What if the government was full of homosexuals and they were trying to ban OUR marraige?" Not everyone is intelligent like that... By all means... they can get married, adopt children (or for the females, invitro), and live. So long as I'm not bothered about becoming gay (I've had it happen already... and I haven't graduated.) I guess you could say that I'm pro-gay, anti-ban.

I never said it should be banned, the governement should have no say on marriage. Since it is a religious bond the churches should be the ones in charge, and as for the benefits that should be categorized more effectively and modern where there are maternal benefits and union benefits.
I'm not really pro or anti anything, it is up the the individuals to make up their minds about what they want, but no one should be able to fully impose their views on others.

Yeah... I think it's retarded that they want it band. yes! Government should stay out of it. The churches want to rule it out... and politicians thrive on religion, thus creating the problem. If the churches ban it, who will wed them?

Civil Unions are out there and completely accepted by most organizations. There are a couple rights they don't provide and I believe that should be fixed, but theoretically they give the same rights and status without a religious base. A man and a woman can get a civil union as well if they want to avoid the church.
