Well as Mario and Luigi were walking through a shortcut that it'll lead them to Peach's Castle (since there's a Halloween party going on), they get interrupted by Death, or the Grim Reaper, as he steals Luigi's soul and runs away, with Mario following, little to they know, they're now inside a bigger expanded history throughout the Belmont clan and vampire hunting in general, until Mario reaches Dracula's Castle, this is were things gets unexpected.

Thanks mate, and kinda of think of it, they look indeed as 90s commercial heheh, though the intention was making them as portals, but I guess those would do just fine
