He did a lot to help it, he created factories and made jobs for millions with his "Five Year Plans"
It was said that what caused the failure wasn't till later, many years after Stalin's death.

Well, what is shown on this picture actually really happened. There were a lot of people wandering in the streets and asking themselves what to do now. Last representatives of communist paty were finishing their work and shutting down their offices. It was really depressive, but with a slight hint of brighter future.
And then the utter shit happened. You see, when the Union collapsed there were a lot of criminals, who were let out of jail under presumption of being vectoms of political regime.
