I really, really like this... it was like instant therapy just looking at it. I felt a sense of calm, a sense of peace the minute I saw it.

i love this painting. like not to weird you out or anything but i think about this painting all the time. like its just gets me. cause its so like sad. it remindes me of this song. its called Blue by Simon Joyner. its really good.

Thank you. I actually painted this the day my grandmother died, and if the picture was better you could make out even more. When I look closely I see faces in it, ALL over the place. That's why "reflections" is in the name.
So, the picture does have a sad history to it.
P.S. The effect was from various layers, painted at different times, and removal. (sponge, paper, cloth, whatever would remove paint) Done at just the right time during the drying, you can get some really nice effects.
