Well, Krekka has a really weak mind. Remember, Onewa had to struggle to make Whenua sit down. That can be explained with just starting to use his mask power and Whenua's strong will, as he resisted for like a minute before he gave into the mindcontrol.

My god... but there is something in OP called devil fruits. If you eat one you get special powers but lose your ability to swim permanently. Would you eat a devil fruit?

Yep, I would eat the fire fruit. Then a telekinesis fruit, if there is actually one that gives this power. And for the no swimming part, eh, don't care. I actually don't know how to swim properly, cause I super rarely going here (features indoor pools, one big (like the one with the slide), and a smaller, with jakuzzi features):

But I wasn't been there for like 7 years now. Or more, can't recall properly. There was a time when I daredeviled myself to go into the 2 meter deep one, which is the large squre one with the blue separating stripes.
So overall, I would eat the fire devil fruit without a second thought if it's fresh and good tasting, not rotten. What devil fruit you would eat?
