Description
Manga Studio 5, May 30th, 2014Another quick-ish drawing as I try to work out kinks. Inspired a little by the current She-Hulk series. First time I've drawn Shulkie in lawyer mode.

Ahaha,
Wow, thats a pretty good piece right there RF! Thats how you teach a Hydra soldier NOT to get into the She-Hulks way! Great arts there did, love the ripped outfit and Savage style used here. Thanks for sharing your works with us RF, looking forward to more in the future!

Thanks, Fonz. Actually this is supposed to be the current incarnation of Shulkie in the current series. They've done something very interesting--most of the time she's the "Sensational" version--a tall, leggy green skinned supermodel doing her lawyer thing. But when she gets into a really heated battle, they draw her more like her savage era--more muscular, with tattered clothes and dishevelled hair, and of course looking angry and dangerous. Futhermore, I think they're playing with the whole idea of "The madder (She)Hulk gets, the stronger (s)he gets" because in one issue she's being held by a giant Doom-Bot and she literally bursts out of her stealth suit--like she kinda powers up. However, it's not a full scale TF into a savage She-Hulk. It's the same person, just angrier and pumped up. It's a brilliant way to present a unified vision honoring all eras of the She-Hulk without being convoluted or contrived--and yes, she even become human Jen Walters when she's trying to travel inconspicuously. So this drawing is an homage to this new version, which I hope sticks around a long time.

Hello RF,
Thanks for the comment and I totally agree with everything you said in your last comment. I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE this current She-Hulk in the comics because she is drawn so darn ugly, its hard to find any attractiveness on those pages. She looks like a ogre-looking SH, as if the just hired a 3rd grader to do this comic. >< To me, the She-Hulk (I prefer Savage), to be sexy, mean and green of course. I did take a peek at the pages of her issues to see that scene you were talking about with the robot and her getting bigger and ripping out of her outfit, that wasn't a bad scene. I just wish they had a better artist for the SH, I think she deserves it after decades of being with Marvel. I did notice she becomes Jen once in a while in the new comic, I really believe she should still become JW when shes night beating up baddies. I respect the fact you like this new comic, I do not because the art completely stinks!

You're welcome. Actually took some requests from friends on facebook--people outside of my normal, dA web circle, and "She-Hulk" was actually the first thing they asked for. (She-Wolf was the second.)
