oooookay.... this is NOT a photoshoped piece? it's charcoals and the total blood of your heart, isn't it? Γ.ΓΆ I'm stunned. There's nothing I can do but fall on my knees and worship you. there's a lot of semi-talented people around here (well, myself included)... but you... O.o
and besides: the hands. i give up after just one hand in a simple position - but you did ELEVEN of them. bam!

This is really beautiful! As you can see from my icon, I love nautilus shells, and your interpretation of one is just so cool.

XD Interesting Question - Most of my inspiration comes from academic fields actually. I love math - so it effects some of stuff I do. Being an architecture student I am constantly designing and thinking creatively so I'm usually in a motivated/inspired state. I get a lot of inspiration for other artists or architects. Lots of sketching and research
How about you?

After you finished this piece, what did you end up doing with it? I was just curious.

Haha That's an interesting question. It hung around in Washington DC for a year. I actually got it back today from my congressman.

Very eery and bizarre...in a good way though. I feel like I'll drown in it if I stare for too long.

I really love how the middle eye is just so perfect...how it fits with both faces, no matter which is the more dominant, the eye works for both.
This is a fantastic piece, truly worthy of a daily deviation, if not much much more.

Second one! haha I'm glad I got people to notice your work enough to get them to do what I did. 3 more months till you can get another >.o
how's school going, missy? I gotta go back too... wasting my time making money instead of art.

I understand. Architecture is probably the hardest corner of art you could've possibly taken. I wanted to be one of those, but mom thinks I'm not into buildings enough to make it work.
Speaking of buildings... I have this idea for an art organization I want to run by you, maybe you'd be interested in joining us if I get the right team. It's like a 5-year goal, haha, but it's worth the wait, and needs it since it's so elaborate.

I really love this piece--especially the way it forms into a snail's shell. Wonderful imagery and realism of the lady's face.
