Description
gift art month continues...well, if you live in michigan, or anywhere near michigan, you're probably aware that it snowed today. it snowed a LOT. so much, in fact, that both myself and got snowdays from work. i don't recall exactly how it came up but i deemed snow frozen hate and Jessica insisted i make a little comic out of it. (she suggested perg and kalea, but really sasha'd hate snow so much more. what does perg care about snow?) anyways so i made this and watched the Big Lebowski with my sister and things were generally good. (minus having to clean like 8 inches of snow off my car. bah) on a side note Jessica was in no way actually that pleased about the snow.
kalaya belongs to and sasha is, of course, mine. inked with microns. poked at with photoshop. i can never tell if that qualifies it as 'digital media'. anyhoo. no taking/using chars or image, please/thanks. faving w/o commenting is boo, etc.
title - [link] jesus it was hard to find that clip. i'm not gonna even pretend i didn't look up the lyrics for the title.
pleeaase try to refrain from just commenting on the big lebowski. we all know it's an awesome movie.

I moved from Texas to Illinois last year and every time that it snowed, I got crazy excited and went jaunting out into the snow. My Russian boss was staring at me like I was crazy (a fair point) and I ended up bouncing around so much that the rest of the studio decided that fine, if I liked the snow so much, I could go run all the errands.
As I recall, almost every person I saw that day had a very Sasha-like response to that. XD

Don't worry, drive in it enough and the hate will grow in you, too.

I completely agree with Sasha. I LOATHE snow and all its near-frictionless, crystallized enmity. . . >_<

Snow is liquid awesome, frozen... it's man's enforcement of "Work" that makes it suck. Proof that "Work" is evil incarnate. Become independatly wealthy and stay home to play in the snow

Snow is awesome. I just wish that it snowed around here. We get dandruff. A might bit of icy dust over a few things. It's not like a decent snow storm where you get about 6 inches and it sticks around for a week or so. You can't have fun with a dusting - no snow-people, no fun driving and you still have to go to work.

I agree. Snow IS hate.
But we don't get snow days for ANYTHING here. I mean, it can be -30 before wind chill with 3 foot drifts of snow, and they still have school. And work.

Hahahaha! That's so my new favorite quote. XD It rains and snows here almost constantly and it's actually statistically shown that this is the most depressed area in the entire state. XP

any one who has ever had to actually DRIVE through snow knows that truer words have never been spoken. i am going to college in illinois, which had quite a bit of snow recently, and i commented to my roomate that when the snow fell it turned the native driving population into a pack of shuffling, slackjawed, morons.

i wish everyone shuffled here when it snowed. some people still seem to want to speed and not use turn signals, which is bad to begin w/, but when there's no traction/stopping power it's much worse.

with all the people who are shitty drivers in this country, it continues to suprise me that our population isnt steadily decreasing. everywhere i go i think: "people here cant possibly be as bad as in (insert town/city)." and for some reason im always surprised when they are.

except when they're out skiing and such like that. i worked the season at macy's and had lots of adults looking for snowpants, and we didn't have any here in TC. sent'em to the sports stores.
