new year, new random sasha standing on something listening to her zune (because sasha won the 'who should i draw' vote). i currently like this one than the other one ([link] )i couldn't be bothered to try and draw a proper circle/straight lines so i just made the lamp (it's a lamp) and the rest of the b/g. i cannot do geometric shapes for the love of me. i can't think of anything to say about this picture so i'm just uploading it quickly before i notice a million things wrong with it. i have a sweater like that. it's warm.
microns + photoshop. character/image belong to me. no using/taking, please/thanks. faving w/o commenting is boo and so on.
title - [link] introduced me to stuff by Max Raabe, a german singer who, with his orchestra/band, does covers of pop songs in an old timey manner. it's awesome.

This is a great approach to drawing Sasha. I like the overall cartoony style you have in this, with her large head and little hands. She always seems to be standing on some strange object defying the laws of gravity. THe simple shapes of the lamp post work well with this Sasha style, it's not too complicated and it's just simple.
I personally like both version of Sasha with her Zune. I like this one for its cartoon style and the other one for its texture and more serious expression

It has a lovely classic anime flavor (the setting and the pose). It reminded me instantly of Ranma. But lots of characters end up inexplicably and yet casually perched in high places.
It makes me think Sasha has come out of the mall and is trying to find her car.

I think Pat Lee did the set designs or something like that for that music video... or maybe it was the other one with the subway train and half jackets... either which, now I'm thinking about Pat Lee and it's annoying.
