Description (edit) Almost done. I fixed perspective in photoshop... since I can't seem to find a polygon lasso tool for painter >>

(edit) update on the background. I still dislike doing perspective lines... even if they are digital...

Anyone else notice how dangerously close this is to having a background? D:

Mm, I'm uploading a vid of my work on this to my vimeo account, but *sigh* it's taking so very long to upload. >> It has already taken so long to compress the video T__T Oh well, eventually the video will be up and running, titled Waiting - Part 1, under my account: [link]

I'm exhausted; I'll have to remember to update that link when I awake.

Thanks very much. I actually liked doing the background for this one (well, a little bit) because of the light. I'm happy you like the mood : )

You should do backgrounds more, you make them so beautiful! And as much as you must hate doing perspective lines, they really contrast with the really organic characters you do, if nothing. I really cant wait till this piece is done (:

Has this been flipped? I recall them being on the left side...

sashas In reply to IssacBlast [2009-08-09 00:05:24 +0000 UTC]

Heh, yes, I was wondering if anyone would mention that. I flip the image back and forth as I'm 'ainting.' Viewing the image differently helps me see errors. And, I have a tendency to draw my lines leaning in a certain direction... so this helps correct that...

Oh, I see. That makes sense. I've never thought of doing that before but I'm definitely going to start now!

Thanks. I work in the graphic design from time to time... designing websites, posters, that sort of thing, which I almost never draw for. I hope to get into some illustration work soon though; we'll see.

This is alredy amazing, if I didn't loved your artwork enough, you actually paint something thats actually touching for personal reasons. The grayscale looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing, cant wait til' its finished (:

Thanks very much. I like drawing more intimate, personal work; they're easier to finish because I'm more attached to them.

I like the greyscale too. I may not color it at all : )
