Heard Elphie's Act II dress was really difficult to create because of the many layers of clothing.
Kudos to you for pulling it off
Great cosplaying too! <3

thanks!!
I was in search of good image of that dress and finally I got two photos from someone who took pictures from an Elphaba at the Stage Door. And I really was lucky that I could meet one Elphaba in her dress, but the top was so complicated .. I coulnd figure out how it was made. So I used a good picture an deliberated my own top.^^

A couple of my friends have done the show so I've been backstage a number of times. It's a pretty basic cut with all the ruffles ect. sewn over that foundation. Almost like one of the pseudo medieval dresses you see in a lot of commercial patterns with princess seams. The top of your dress is almost reminiscent of the wicked witch in the Garland movie. Kind of a blend of the two characters.
