Wow! It felt so very good to draw a pony again! It's been a really super duper long time since I've drawn one, but it may be awhile before I can do anymore art... my laptop monitor is starting to go out on me I think.
I'm so very sad by this because I need my laptop to do my artwork and idk what I'm going to do without it... so yeah. Anyway, here's Princess Luna from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She's my favorite pony out of all them. I loved her as Nightmare Moon too. I tried very hard to do the FiM style, but I think some of my own ended up being incorporated into the drawing. Anyway, it's probably shocking to see this lol. She's going to be a part of my keychain drawings once I get them back up and going again. I'm trying! Let's just hope my monitor will last a bit longer before I can't use it anymore... 
Anyway, thank you in advance for any comments and/or faves. I really appreciate it! 
edit: I fixed the shimmers in Luna's hair. I felt the first version was a bit overbearing. They were bothering me! lol
2nd edit: I just redrew her entirely... I got some pretty heavy critique on the first version... maybe this one is a bit better? Idk, but I also feel she's more in the G4/FiM style instead of so much my own. They might sell better if I keep them more in a G4 style, so that's what I'm doing. Anyway, hope you guys still like her...

Thats so beautiful! That long sparkly mane and baby like horsey proportions... It's so pretty! I'm really not familiar with My Little Pony, but it's so pretty!

I had a couple My Little Ponies when I was younger but... I have three mean mean older sisters who didn't like them so I didn't play with them much

This is amazing, I love it!! Btw if I can just ask though how did you do her mane cuz I've been meaning to draw her myself but have no idea how to do her mane. So yeah, really good job keep it up!!

Thank you so much!! Well, basically what I did was I made one layer in Photoshop that was just for the main color of her mane. Then I did another layer and just painted the light purple in the same pattern as the shape of her mane if that makes any sense at all? For the sparkling stars, that was a brush I used that I've had for years. I don't even remember where I got it from! lol Anyway, thank you! I will! Celestia will most likely be next and then I'm gonna do the mane six.

Thank you so much, and yes it made perfect sense. I use GIMP but that shouldn't matter to much when it comes to brushes or layers. I can't wait to see how you make Celestia and the rest of the mane 6!! Thanks again for the advice, I can't wait to try it out for myself!!

She is a little doll, isn't she??? My favorite is Luna followed by Rarity. Applejack is a cutie pie too! She brings back a lot of childhood memories because she still looks the same like she did way back in the 80s when she was in the very first MLP cartoon ever made.

I think Lauren did a good job of making some diverse and unique characters. unlike the past generation of ponies, the show actually has a really good plot and developed characters.

Actually, the very first generation, G1 had an excellent plot, amazingly developed characters and everything. In fact, I really miss the old school MLP. It was what I grew up to, so I miss them. G3 wasn't all that developed, no. In fact, pretty disappointing. This generation is definitely new and interesting. Very well done.
